We believe that our staffs are one of our most valuable assets who have contributed to the success of our Group and that the technical competence and knowledge of our employees are instrumental in maintaining our competitive position. We place strong emphasis on staff training by hiring experienced instructors and equipping our staff with the requisite industrial skills and safety knowledge so that they will be able to perform their scope of work with higher productivity and efficiency.
Our training programmes can be classified into the following three main categories:
(a) Orientation training
(b) On-the-job training
(c) Continuous Learning
With our emphasis on staff training, we also operate accredited training and testing facilities in Singapore to provide skills training and certification for our staff and staff from other companies for a fee. We worked with ASPRI as its appointed skill evaluation test centre and are qualified to provide certain training and certifications. Since 1995, ITE has approved us as the skills evaluation center and MOM has approved us as the accredited training provider. The OPSOC is a safety training course required under the Workplace Safety and Health Act 2006 and imposed by MOM and major industry participants. The OPSOC provides safety training for both workers and supervisors employed to carry out works in the oil refineries and petrochemical industry to ensure that all workers are properly trained before they are assigned to work in such plants.
We are one of the two centres in the Process Industries in Singapore qualified to conduct the Riggers and Signalmen courses and each of our instructors has more than 20 years of working experience in the Process Industries.
