Mun Siong has gone through 40 years of hard work to achieve what we have today since the company's founding in 1969. The hard work that we have put in over the past few decades are now paying off. The company has positioned ourselves and secured its core business. It is now ready to advance beyond simply maintenance and construction projects. Today we are able to undertake integrated maintenance work and EPC projects.

In the year of 2009, Mun Siong had to endure the economic downturn, but we managed to successfully complete two major construction projects with one of the oil majors in Singapore. This has proven a significant challenge for Mun Siong. We have not been involved in such projects since the 1980s. However, the projects were completed well within the client's expected schedule; and budget, a true testament to our wealth of engineering expertise. Equipped with the enhanced experience and our expertise, we are ready to build on this base and expand further into the avenue of construction projects in a larger scale locally as well as overseas.

In 2010, Mun Siong successfully secures a five-year maintenance contracts with the oil majors. Presently, with such solid foundation built up in the local market, I am fully confident that Mun Siong now has the impetus to venture into the regional market, expanding upon our existing success. In doing so, we will then see further growth for us and provide better returns to our stakeholders.
